I know, yet another diet. Are you sick of spending worthless money on diets that don’t work? Starving yourself? Exercising until you just can’t move anymore? Try this.
The 17-Day Diet
I am not trying to sound like one of those bogus advertisements in every single magazine. I know all of them and being a fitness and nutrition fanatic, I have tried them too, with not much of a result or more importantly, results that don’t last. All I have been hearing for the past two weeks is about this new 17-Day Diet on which all of my friends, co-workers, and family members have been. My first thought was probably the same as yours, not another diet. I had come to terms with the fact that diets, no matter what kind, do not work. I truly believed that healthy eating and exercise was the only method of losing weight and keeping it off.
Needless to say I have been proven wrong.
The diet was created by Dr. Mike Moreno and is broken up into different cycles to ultimately confuse your body. The first cycle is a cleanse cycle that encourages fat burning and weight loss. The second cycle resets the metabolism, the third is to re-teach yourself how to eat, carbohydrates especially, and the fourth cycle is a combination of the previous. The best part about the fourth cycle is that you can cheat on the weekends!
An article published on DietsinReview.com calls the 17 Day Diet book the hottest item of 2011 when it was only out for one week. The 17 Day Diet Can’t Meet Demand article states, “the demand for this book is overwhelming, and exceeding expectations, and because of that, the supply can’t keep up.”
I have read a countless amount of customer reviews and they have all been 100% positive. People are thanking Dr. Moreno for changing their lives forever because they can take control of their bodies once and for all. My biggest concern was that I would feel starving throughout the day or have no energy. Since this diet includes the most essential nutrients for the body and blocks out the “bad” foods, you will actually feel more energized and have a decreased appetite throughout the day. I have not spoken to a single person who has tried this diet who did not lose at least five pounds within the first week, and kept it off. Obviously you can’t go back to eating your everyday bagel for breakfast or doughnut for dessert- moderation is key.
