“The study suggests that in order for pharmaceuticals around the world to identify the best pricing solution, economic research should include country-by-country analysis of exogenous changes to estimate price elasticity, like healthcare system changes,” explains Bruce Wang, Ph.D., Director, HEOR, ALSCG. “Additionally, marketing research should be conducted on customers’ reactions to price changes.”
